Dance Educators of America is a prestigious not-for-profit professional dance organization                                                                  established in 1932. We are dedicated to improving the quality and teaching abilities of its                                                                         member teachers and enhancing their education of students, as well as furthering the professional                                                                  and ethical standards in the performing and stage arts and of dance in all its forms.

DEA is about inspiring and  producing Champions- Members, students and faculty alike.  Why have we been successful through the years? By providing quality education in all disciplines and instilling in the new and seasoned dance instructor, the foundations of dance in which to build their professional careers on stage and in the classroom.  We are innovative, committed and driven to deliver outstanding programming in support of our community and the industry of dance.
